1.  Read "The Walrus and the Carpenter" by Lewis Carroll (1832-1898).  This is a whimsical poem that you will enjoy.  
2.  Reread the poem and discuss what is occurring in each stanza.  
3.  Answer the questions.  
4.  Brain Bucket for anyone who can logically connect one of Mrs. Sullivan's stories to the poem.

1.  Get the Story Times newspaper.  Read the story, "The Quick Running Squash".  
2.  EBLI the two words written in BOLD:     peculiar                    
3.  Answer the questions on the back of the paper.    

4.  Use an EBLI board to summarize the story in 15 words or less.  Get checked!  Transfer your summary in your StoryWorks booklet.

1.  Watch the video about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
2.  After watching, read your copy of the UDHR and respond to which Human Right you believe is the most important.  Write your eloquent answer on the back of your MAP.
3.  Check your MAP for this week's RNB requirements.  You must complete pages 18-25.  You may find examples of what your requirements are by clicking the image of Esperanza Rising.
