![]() How Do I Choose a Book?
Some parents have requested information about how to choose good fit books for their child/ren. The five finger rule is always a good gauge when determining a successful book for your child. If he/she misses five words on the first page of the book, likely it is NOT a good fit for him/her. Below are some sites that will level books. If you do not know your child's "reading level" please contact me and I will inform you of his/her current independent reading level. ![]() Scholastic will level books according to DRA, Lexile, and Guided Reading levels.
